Job description
This role involves a Freelance Corporate Planner who will be responsible for overseeing the procurement and supply chain activities within a leading industrial/manufacturing organization based in Evergem. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset and be adept at problem-solving, in addition to having a strong background in supply chain management.
- Oversee the integrated supply planning process for multiple chemical production plants.
- Balance the supply network to ensure optimal production capacity and resource allocation.
- Plan the optimal allocation of finished products across internal plants and third-party manufacturers to meet long-term market demand.
- Develop an economical raw material mix based on long-term planning to ensure business profitability and timely procurement of necessary materials.
- Maximize production efficiency, minimize logistics costs, optimize stock management, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Analyze and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply planning, using data to measure and present results to management.
- Lead monthly supply review meetings with key stakeholders, including local planners, sales, purchasing, and process departments.
- Coach, train, and motivate local planners by sharing best practices and industry knowledge.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, production processes, and supply planning tools.
