FP&A Analyst – Belgium
Otis is expanding its business and is looking for a FP&A Analyst (M/F/X) to join one of our entities.
As an FP&A Analyst, you analyze and explain financial performance, prepare accurate reports, and provide strategic recommendations to optimize results. You collaborate with operational teams and demonstrate autonomy to support decision-making.
You will be working from our office in Groot-Bijgaarden.
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the FP&A Manager Benelux, following an initial training period, your primary responsibilities will include:
Lead the forecasting, budgeting and financial planning process
Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to align financial goals with corporate strategy
Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
Provide insights and explanations on financial performance and key figures
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive performance improvement across the organization
Utilize ERP and business intelligence tools to improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency
Work independently, demonstrating autonomy and initiative in delivering results
Interpersonal and Leadership skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Capacity to collaborate within a team
Communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-financial stakeholders
Qualifications
You hold a Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or in a related field with a strong understanding of accounting principles
You have 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
You are familiar with reporting tools (preferably Hyperion)
You are proficient with business intelligence tools (e.g. Business Objects, Power BI)
You have hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably Baan)
You possess advanced Excel skills
You are fluent in English, and speak either French or Dutch as well
