And our reputation for Swiss engineering standards has made us a trusted choice for industry leaders like Lufthansa, UBS, Swiss Life, and millions of people around the world.Objective of the roleAs an FP&A Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and success of the company. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, creating reports, and providing insights to guide strategic decision-making. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of monthly performance against budget and forecasts. Provide analysis for senior leaders, board and other internal and external stakeholders in a c-suite ready format.Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts. Work closely with the business units to gather information, analyze trends, and make recommendations for optimizing financial performance.Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports for internal stakeholders, including management and department heads. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.Financial Modeling: Build and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, investment decisions, and scenario analysis. Evaluate the financial impact of various initiatives and proposed projects.Cost Analysis: Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving measures.Process improvements: develop and improve existing analytics and processes, automating processes and controls.Ad hoc Analysis: Undertake special projects and ad hoc analysis as required by management. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.What you bringA degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.Min 3 years of proven experience in financial analysis and modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis tools (e.g., Google sheets/Excel, Tableau).Ability to work with databases (using SQL queries).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and offer innovative solutions to financial challenges.Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to various business units en non-finance stakeholders.Strong presentation skills, including the ability to create clear and compelling reports and presentations.Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.Nice to haves:Experience with B2B (sales) teams.Experience with complex data queries.Experience in working with Hubspot and Looker.Our benefits🌍 You get to impact the way over 60 million people get work done every month.🚀 Push boundaries and dare to fail-that’s how we learn!🏝️ 30 vacation days-yep, you read that right- you can take them whenever you need them.🧳 Need a long break?
