As a Flight Dynamics Engineer, you will lead the design and development of flight dynamics models and support the design and validation of navigation, guidance, and control (GNC) algorithms. These models will be primarily focused on In-Orbit Servicing (IOS) and Space Situational Awareness (SSA) use cases, addressing both relative and absolute dynamics.Your role will be crucial in refining our flight dynamics models, ensuring accuracy, robustness, and integration into our GNC solutions.We value smart, motivated, and collaborative engineers who are passionate about space exploration, problem-solving, and pushing technological boundaries. Experience in simulation environments is beneficial, but what matters most is your passion for aerospace engineering, drive to innovate, and commitment to advancing sustainable space operations.TasksDesign, develop, and validate flight dynamics models for spacecraft, focusing on relative and absolute dynamics for IOS and SSA scenarios.Support the integration of flight dynamics models into GNC algorithms.Support the development of GNC algorithms for navigation and control during proximity operations, rendezvous, and docking.Utilize Python and C++ to simulate and analyze spacecraft dynamics, ensuring high performance and reliability.Generate detailed technical reports, presentations, and documentation for various stakeholders, contributing to reviews and project milestones.Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes, emphasizing accurate data handling, technical excellence, and adherence to deadlines.Stay updated on the latest advancements in flight dynamics, spacecraft GNC, and space mission technologies, promoting continuous learning within the team.RequirementsMaster’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Astrophysics, Automatic Control or related fields.2-3 years of proven experience in developing and validating flight dynamics models, with a focus on in-orbit servicing or spacecraft proximity operations.Strong coding and simulation skills using Pyhton, C++.
