Flexible Manufacturing Worker in Huddersfield, United Kingdom

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for several talented Flexing Manufacturing Worker to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Ltd. in Huddersfield, United Kingdom.

This is a 6-month fixed term contract. For this role, candidates must be able to work flexible shifts , including days (7:30 am – 3:00 pm) and nights (10:15 pm – 7:30 am).

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :

• Adhering to quality standards and performing inspections will ensure that turbochargers meet high-quality benchmarks, reducing defects and enhancing customer satisfaction.

• Operating both manual and automated equipment efficiently will help meet production goals and maintain the required cycle times, directly impacting the company’s output and efficiency.

• Actively participating in training and personal development, and engaging in process improvements, will drive overall quality and efficiency enhancements in turbocharger assembly.

• Effective communication with your team and support staff will improve coordination, streamline processes, and enhance problem-solving capabilities, contributing to a more cohesive work environment.

• Keeping your work area organized and performing housekeeping tasks will maintain a productive and safe workspace, supporting both individual and team performance.

Education/Experience

• Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

• Full training will be provided

QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Be prepared to work across day and night shifts for turbocharger assembly as needed.

• Apply and adapt manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality in turbocharger assembly.

• Meet commitments and ensure high standards in turbocharger assembly by holding yourself and others accountable.

• Proactively address and report safety issues to maintain a safe environment in turbocharger assembly.
