If you are passionate about working for a noble cause on projects shaping the future of sustainable and intelligent pharma facilities, NNE is the place to be.About the roleAs a Fire Specialist in the construction and commissioning department, you will ensure the highest standards of fire safety and regulatory compliance are integrated into every phase of the project. You will be monitoring and inspecting several critical areas to ensure comprehensive fire safety.It will be your responsibility to make sure that the correct fire equipment is present and properly utilized throughout the different phases of construction, ultimately enhancing the overall safety of the pharmaceutical facility. This role is essential in protecting the facility, ensuring the safety of personnel, and safeguarding valuable pharmaceutical products and research.Location Kalundborg Department Site HSE Management

As a Fire Specialist, you’ll:

  • Advise on the types of fire extinguishers, alarms, and other fire safety equipment needed based on the identified risks and regulatory requirements.
  • Recommend fire safety measures for the construction site, such as temporary fire alarms, fire extinguishers, and emergency exits.
  • Ensure adherence to local, national, and international fire safety regulations and standards specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Conduct thorough fire risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that fire safety equipment is properly maintained and accessible.
  • Suggest relevant improvements to Guidelines, Manuals and Best Practices.

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:

  • A degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Fire Science, Safety Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience from fire safety roles within construction and commissioning projects, preferably in the pharmaceutical or similar industries.
  • Propound analytical and problem-solving skills to address fire safety challenges.
  • Significant verbal and written communication skills to be used for training and collaboration.
