We are looking for an experienced FinOps Leader to lead and establish the FinOps activities within the organization. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership and financial skills, and a deep understanding of cloud financial management. The FinOps Leader will drive the development and implementation of FinOps strategies, policies, and processes to optimize cloud costs, improve financial visibility, and align cloud spending with business objectives.FinOps ManagerMiejsce pracy: Zielona GóraProject information:

• Remote work: 100% remote
• Budget: 190 – 200 PLN/net/h + VAT on B2B
• Seniority level: Senior

• Start date: ASAP/ depending on the candidate’s availability

Project scope:

• Develop and execute the overall FinOps strategy and roadmap
• Develop and implement FinOps policies, standards, and governance frameworks
• Define and track FinOps KPIs and metrics
• Develop and maintain financial models for cloud cost analysis
• Prepare and analyze cloud cost reports and forecasts
• Implement and manage showback and chargeback processes
• Develop and maintain cost allocation models
• Analyze cloud spending patterns and identify cost optimization opportunities
• Manage FinOps budget and resources
• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging FinOps technologies

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in IT architecture, system design, and cloud technologies
• Proven experience in a leadership role with a focus on finance, IT, or cloud computing
• Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS being the top priority, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with financial management and budgeting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• FinOps certification
• Demonstrated experience in cloud financial model and optimization
