Join PwC and be a game changer.Insurance Managed Services In PwC Poland it is rapidly expanding as part of the Managed Services Operations. The Insurance Managed Services team at PwC Poland consists of 16 specialists in US GAAP, IFRS and statutory, regulatory and Solvency II insurance company reporting. We provide support for reporting in many areas, such as investment and technical accounting, IFRS planning and budgeting, insurance company solvency and financial condition, and regulatory reporting to the PFSA. We operate in both the international and domestic markets.We are looking for:Financial Services Accounting Expert with GermanYour future role:

  • Independently manage your pipeline and supervise daily accounting and reporting, assist in quarterly, semi- annual and annual audit,
  • Transitioning processes from client and transforming them to managed service,
  • Act as a leader and an expert on customer calls with regards to most complex clients and issues,
  • Serve as the first point of contact for the less experienced colleagues, share ongoing knowledge of policy/procedure with the colleagues,
  • Properly execute changes, implementation and communication within operational teams,
  • Encourage identification and manage implementation of process optimization initiatives in order to achieve quality and efficiency improvement, as well as process standardization and harmonization in the region.

Apply if you have:

  • 5-7 years of accounting experience for financial sector (insurance, banking,other financial institutions) in complex areas of the field,
  • Advanced general accounting knowledge (IFRS in particular) and operational experience especially in the field of regulatory and financial reporting for insurance companies, banks or other financial institutions,
  • German language skills at min. B2 level and English language skills at min. B2 level,
  • Very good knowledge of accounting regulations for insurance companies / or for banking sector,
  • Good communication and presentational and feedback giving skills to lead the operational quality calls,
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and Google tools, experience with enterprise information systems,
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to organize, prioritize and deliver tasks. Adaptability to changing priorities and ability to work directly under client supervision on client premises,
  • Practical experience with ERP solutions will be an additional advantage.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of the legal basis of the insurance contracts / banking operations,
  • ACCA or any other accounting certificate.
