Your Purpose:
We have an opportunity for a Financial Reporting Analyst, based in our Divisional Financial Control team.
As our Financial Reporting Analyst, you’ll support a specific business area and take responsibility for regular reporting routines which includes preparation of P&L, balance sheets and Cash Flow, month end reporting and supporting the monthly close.
There are also longer-term opportunities in this role to work on process improvement and project work, so you’ll have the scope to develop your role and have an impact on efficiency and optimization within your business area.
Due to the nature of this role, there is a requirement for some flexibility in hours across month end.
This is a hybrid role, with two days office based and the remainder from home. Our office address is:

Key Responsibilities:
-Working closely with our accountant based in Prague, to ensure all necessary accounting tasks for MCE Group s.r.o. are completed, providing support for the reconciliation of balances and detailed review, preparation and submission of month end reports.
-Weekly responsibility for preparation of daily liquidity planning and reporting for MCE s.r.o., maintaining appropriate account balances on the operational account.
-Checking and reviews of Divisional Liquidity reporting, publishing weekly dashboards.
-Being the key point of contact for Netherlands BV and MC Holdings BV, liaising with external professional service providers and the global functions (consolidation team tax and treasury) to ensure timely and accurate data/information exchanges.
-Reconciling Netherlands BV package entries to US GAAP with monthly upload of reporting package and cash flow input and validation.
-Coordinating bookings of received invoices, purchase orders and bank statements.
-Support for monthly closing, including BPC reporting and cash flow input in BPC, communication with inter-company entities, including ICO reconciliation
-Support for divisional reporting such as collection of SUD/ OOP and assertion lists data, and preparing additional schedules reports.
-Preparation of open balances report, accruals, prepayments, zone people charge and revaluation postings
-Supporting process improvement/project work – such as mapping of new Chart of Accounts, support for SAP changes, maintaining and refining documentation for all existing processes for MCE s.r.o. and Netherlands BV.
About you:
You’ll be diligent and have an eye for detail, and thrive in an autonomous role but be able to share challenges and give/seek support within your team.
You’ll likely also have:
-Experience in a financial reporting/analyst/accounting role
-Experience of reporting
-University Degree in Finance or Accounting
-Knowledge of basic bookkeeping
-Experienced in preparation of full P&L/BS and cash flow
-Advanced user knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel
-Good analytical skill
-Advanced knowledge of English and Romanian
