Job description

  • Develop and implement cost control procedures in the project to obtain reliable and accurate information about the project’s financial progress;
  • Prepare project budgets and cost estimations;
  • Coordinate with Project Manager to forecast project costs and time lines;
  • Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions;
  • Monitor project expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities;
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management;
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards;
  • Manage a team of cost control analysts.

Responsibility for the full P&L of large-scale industrial project|International company from building sector

  • Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics or related;
  • At least 5 to 7 years’ experience in finance, including min. 3 years’ experience on relevant position, gained in international building company;
  • Experience and strong expertise in financial project management, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, reporting, cost analysis, cash-flow management etc.;
  • Knowledge and deep understanding of the specificity of medium and large scale industrial/technological projects;
  • Certification in cost control (e.g., CCP, PMP) would be highly appreciated;
  • Proven ability to be a valued and trusted business partner to the Project Manager and operational leaders;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Fluency in English – at least B2 level;
  • Proficiency in cost control software and financial management systems;
  • Readiness to work stationary in Płock location.

For our Client, an international building company, we are looking for Financial Project Manager (Cost Control Head) dedicated to the industrial investment project located in Płock.The Financial Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial aspects of the project. This includes budgeting, cost estimation, cost control, and financial reporting. The role requires close collaboration with project manager, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure the project is completed within the approved budget. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in cost control, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the industry.
