Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for a Financial Markets Manager (m/f/x) for a permanent position based in Brussels.Our client is a fast growing company active in the telecom sector.As Financial Markets Manager (m/f/x) you will be responsible for:The Financial Markets Manager will coordinate the external financing & refinancing globally, in interaction with other functional areas such as Treasury, Tax, Business Partners and Accounting to respond to the needs of the business
You will monitor Financial Markets and help on strategy design for Loan and Debt Capital Markets. At the same time, you will be the ESG financing champion by integrating and promoting sustainable finance throughout all funding and investment decisions.You will ensure an optimal Credit Rating for the Group and its affiliates (where appropriate) by managing the relationship and dialogue with the credit rating agencies.You will recommend and execute Asset Allocation strategies for entities that enjoy long term financial assets in order to balance a sound risk/return policy.Actively contribute and support in the identification of optimized financing and liquidity schemes:

• Support the execution of fund-raising exercises and business-related financing , including syndication of credit facilities, debt issuance and local bank bilaterals.;
• Monitor debt maturities and anticipate refinancing;
• Work in close cooperation with Corporate Treasury, Corporate Tax, Group Accounting, Business Partners and Legal teams in the documentation and implementation of intercompany financing in a timely and cost effective basis;
• Preserve an intimate knowledge of rating agencies methodology, develop and keep-up-to-date internal model allowing to foresee credit metrics impacts;
• Maintain an active dialogue with financial markets and bank partners;
• Act as a back-up of the Corporate Finance & Treasury Lead.

The required profile for the Financial Markets Manager (m/f/x) position:

• A university degree (Master) or equivalent through experience, with minimum 5 years in Finance environments.
• Proven experience and genuine long term interest in the Corporate Finance domain and the financial markets (bond market, loan market, alternative funding).
• Proven and relevant knowledge and experience in multiple finance domains (accounting, controlling, corporate finance, …).
• Extensive digital savviness, with excellent MS Office skills, eagerness to explore & implement new IT tools and if possible with a proven experience in finance/treasury automation.
• Fluency in English
• You have an analytical mindset with a constructive & pragmatic problem-solving approach.
• You are autonomous, efficient, organized and you can respect deadlines.
• Your oral/written communication skills are excellent and balanced, with assertiveness & respect.
• You are result driven, stress resistant, flexible and take initiative.
• You have excellent interpersonal skills and can work in team and build bridges with business counterparts.
• You are eager to learn and you have an open mind for new ideas.
