Summary You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst (Disbursing Officer) in the Comptroller (N8) Department, Commercial Bill Pay Office (CBPO), of COMMANDER NAVY REGION EUROPE AFRICA CENTRAL. Responsibilities You will perform or advise on disbursing operations across the Region to include Africa. You will analyze and recommend costs/benefits of alternative methods of financial management, policies governing the custody of public funds, and electronic funds transfer (EFT) of vendor payments in foreign currencies You will implement internal controls and provide advice on effective and efficient methods for maintaining disbursing operation and U.S. Treasury reporting. You will process vendor payments and foreign national payroll in ONEPAY, Defense Finance Reporting and Reconciliation System (DFRRS), Defense Cash Accountability System (DCAS). Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing and evaluating funding and disbursing requests; 2) Facilitating disbursing and pay operations to support programs and activities; and 3) Recommending and implementing financial policies.
