Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Financial Management Analyst in the NAVEUR/NAVAF of COMMANDER US NAVAL FORCES EUROPE and AFRICA Capodichino, Italy. Responsibilities You will evaluate financial data to resolve discrepancies in a system reporting process. You will analyze costs and benefits for alternative methods of financial management for organization program. You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for use of funds to support the organization’s programs and activities. You will set priorities and schedule work to assure effective and expeditious accomplishment of priority work. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized Experience may include: 1) Advising financial management staff on the application of funding policy and regulatory requirements 2) Interpreting, assessing, and projecting potential impact of new or revised congressional legislation 3) Analyzing data for various financial reports (e.g., budget formulation, budget execution, accounting, audit readiness) 4) Evaluating expenditures to determine compliance with organizational budgetary, accounting, or financial procedures and practices. Special Requirements: This is a Financial Management Level II Certified position IAW the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d.
