Financial Controller for Purchasing

• Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and provide detailed reports on cost trends and procurement efficiency
• Assist in creating and monitoring procurement budgets, ensuring alignment with company financial goals
• Evaluate suppliers based on costs, quality, and delivery times; identify areas for improvement and suggest optimization strategies
• Continuously analyze purchasing processes to drive efficiency improvements and implement automation or digitalization initiatives
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (finance, logistics, production) to ensure smooth operations and provide the management team with relevant data and insights for decision-making
• Provide variance analysis and data insights to support decision-making for senior management
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and data accuracy
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, and other departments to gather and analyze financial data

• Bachelor”s or Master”s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, Purchasing, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in purchasing controlling, or controlling with a focus on procurement
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budget planning, and financial analysis
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced skills in MS Excel
• Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail and a data-driven mindset
• Excellent communication
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• German language proficiency is a plus
