YOUR OPPORTUNITYYour OpportunityAs a Financial Analyst within the Bacardi-Martini B.V group, you will play a pivotal role in conducting financial analysis across various legal entities. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial data, as well as preparing detailed reports and memorandums. Based in our Rotterdam office, you will join a small, dynamic team of highly educated and experienced finance professionals.About YouThis role requires strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with counterparts in various functions, global finance teams, and colleagues from our Shared Service Centres.Success in this position depends on your ability to operate and coordinate seamlessly within our matrix organization. RESPONSIBILITIESWith Our Consumer At The Heart Your Key Focus Will Be:

  • Prepare and analyse financial statements for multiple international entities, ensuring compliance with Dutch, Swiss, and US GAAP
  • Provide monthly/quarterly commentary on financial submission and report quarterly financial schedules
  • Provide financial insights highlighting key financial dynamics to produce high quality presentations summarising key findings, conclusions and recommendations
  • Work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to deliver information and analysis on a timely and efficient basis
  • Responsible for various tax and statutory reporting requirements (internal and external)
  • Participate in both internal and external audits to ensure accuracy and transparency in financial reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency enhancements within the finance function.
  • Be a key player in the annual consolidation process for the BMBV group, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting based on Dutch GAAP.

  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills to address complex financial issues that may arise.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with teams from different cultural backgrounds and languages.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to capture information in a clear, concise manner and can adapt information for various audience
  • Understanding of diverse accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards (US GAAP, Dutch GAAP). Willingness to stay updated on changes in international accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Digitally savvy, adept at learning new systems, with experience in ERP systems and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Must be fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
  • Experience in participation with internal and external audits.
  • Handling pressure and setbacks with composure, maintaining focus on tasks at hand
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or master’s degree in accounting or business administration
  • Previous experience in Shared Services environment- preferred
