The position
As a Financial Analyst at Novo Nordisk, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial strategies and ensuring accurate reporting within the organization. This position involves close collaboration with various teams to ensure quality budgeting and reporting to senior management. You will also actively work to mitigate financial risks while driving value creation initiatives.

Some of your responsibilities will be:
•    Collaborate with colleagues on internal and external reporting and manage the budgeting process for the multi-billion DKK Net Financial Items line.
•    Develop insights into the financial markets’ impact on Novo Nordisk, working with the Front Office team to identify and mitigate financial risks.
•    Act as a liaison for both internal and external auditors, ensuring adherence to House-In-Order and Sarbanes-Oxley (Sarbox) compliance within Corporate Treasury.
•    Drive value creation projects to enhance operational efficiency and transparency.

Qualifications 
•    It is a requirement to hold a master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Auditing.
•    The ideal candidate would have 0-2 years of relevant experience, but we might consider more experienced profiles.
•    Ability to simplify complex financial information into clear communication in both written and spoken English.
•    To be familiar with financial instruments such as FX spots, FX forwards, and bonds, would be an advantage.

About the Department 
You will be part of the Corporate Financial Risk department, made up by 2 people in Middle Office and 4 people in Front Office. The department is responsible for managing Novo Nordisk’s capital structure and financial risks at the group level. The team, located at our headquarters in Bagsværd, Denmark, is comprised of highly skilled professionals. The department functions within a globally oriented Corporate Treasury that also handles financial risks across our affiliates and oversees Novo Nordisk’s insurance programs.
