And our way of working smarter.SummaryThe Finance Transformation Manager is a strategic role within the Finance Transformation Office reporting directly to the Finance Transformation Lead. (S)he is responsible for spearheading key digital transformation projects within the Finance organization (e.g.: FP&A, ERP transformation, Gen Ai, Reporting rationalization…). This role encompasses driving innovation from people, process, and technology perspective ensuring alignment with the strategic goals of Finance and Proximus.The Finance Transformation Manager coordinates decisions towards adoption and implementation of standard processes and data quality standards/definitions. (S)he ensures that solution requirements raised by finance, the business, IT or other stakeholders are adequately evaluated and considered & drives continuous improvement and automation.The ideal candidate has recent Finance Transformation experience (occupied similar role in the past or consulting background) and is knowledgeable about the latest industry best practices and innovations.Department: Finance Transformation OfficeReports to: Finance Transformation LeadResponsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of FP&A and ERP transformation projects.
- Be the business owner for strategic projects including the support on definition and prioritization of business requirements
- Own the key business and technology outcomes and report to senior management
- Ensure seamless integration of new technologies into existing finance systems.
- Continuously assess and improve finance processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Engage with key stakeholders (Finance, Technology and Business departments) to ensure alignment and support for transformation projects.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Manage stakeholders within and outside the Finance organization at all levels including external partners
- Drive and measure the adoption of best practices and drive the improvement of key process metrics
Your ProfileQualification and skills
- Master’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Additional certification in digital transformation, chartered accountancy or MBA is a plus
- 5-8 years in finance transformation at a Big 5 or equivalent transformational finance roles in a large Belgian company or international group
- Led key transformational programs with proven track record in ERP & FP&A transformations
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strategic thinking with a focus on innovation and process improvement
- Deep understanding of E2E finance processes
- Good understanding of FIN IT tools (ERP (SAP, MSDyn), FP&A/EPM, Power BI..)
- Strategic thinking, development of innovative solutions within changing environment
- Project management
- Reporting and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
