The Position

You will have an exciting opportunity to enhance your skill set within a highly dynamic team dedicated to financial excellence, supporting Novo Nordisk’s growth journey and advancing global health initiatives. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across our three Corporate Treasury departments: Corporate Financial Risk, Global Financial Risk, and Insurance Risk Management. Your tasks will vary in both content and duration, and may include:

-Preparation of monthly reports on cash, financial risks, performance, financial transactions, etc.
-Automation and financial modeling, primarily in Excel
-Assisting in risk management initiatives, and supporting and interacting with stakeholders across the globe
-Driving the digital agenda with business intelligence tools like PowerBI
-Analyzing and implementing compliant transfer pricing conditions for financial transactions
 

In addition, you will be expected to support various ad-hoc tasks across the department as your role evolves. The position is designed for 15-20 hours per week, primarily working from our Bagsværd office, and offers flexibility around exam schedules.

Qualifications

You are studying your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Commercial Law, Risk Management, or a related field at a Danish university.

-Naturally curious with a strong passion for finance and risk management
-Demonstrating drive and keen attention to detail
-Structured and collaborative mindset
-Skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; tech-savvy with a flair for IT – experience with BI tools is a strong advantage
-Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
 

Previous knowledge is not a prerequisite, but we expect that you are curious to expand your knowledge within the worlds of capex projects, technical topics, sustainability and the pharmaceutical industry.

About the Department

Corporate Treasury is globally responsible for managing Novo Nordisk’s insurance programs and liquidity, ensuring that sufficient cash is available for both internal and external investments. To protect both cash and profit from negative impacts, Treasury handles and mitigates risks, with a key focus on currency exposure and current and emerging insurable risks at both the group level and in collaboration with affiliates worldwide. People are Treasury’s core asset, and consequently, we have a strong focus on people development.

When joining Corporate Treasury, you will be part of a vibrant, globally oriented department responsible for managing Novo Nordisk’s cash, insurance programs, banking relationships, and mitigating financial risks. Our department, located in Bagsværd, consists of 26 dedicated employees.
