Job Description:Part of the Finance Delivery team reporting to the Head of Finance Delivery that sits within the Finance domain.Responsibilities:
- Global coordination of Finance project Portfolio:
- Document global projects governance framework and ensure its coordination.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation (methodology, tools and techniques) and KPIs to report on projects performance and risks.
- Report on the delivery and progress of finance projects and transformation initiatives to the Finance leadership team, escalating issues as needed.
- Contribute to the definition and the review Finance roadmap and projects portfolio.
- Ensure projects are delivered cost-effectively and sustainably, meeting targets set with the Deputy CEO and CFO,
- Propose appropriate solutions to resolve project-related challenges,
- Identify / escalate issues in a timely and effective manner,
- Ensure transversality of Finance delivery within Finance projects in the scope,
- Supervise regulatory projects.
- Provide guidance and coaching to the project owners and the project team in relation to project management and delivery,
- Understand broader Finance management objectives and identify potential new projects or enhancements to existing projects,
- Promote a proactive, innovative, transparent, collaborative, and flexible project delivery culture.
Qualifications:Required experience & competencies
- At least 7 years of experience of work experience in insurance / reinsurance, or consulting organization
- Extensive experience in big projects delivery and project management.
- Strong transversal knowledge in Closing, reporting and FP&A. Actuarial skills is a plus
- Insurance/reinsurance skills and more generally, background in a global, complex insurance environment.
- Flexible, eager to adapt and capable of driving change within the team
- Leadership qualities
- Customer and services oriented, problems solving, pragmatic, and constructive.
- Experience of a flexible approach to managing and prioritizing a high workload and multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Proactive communicator (oral and written) with highly effective influencing, negotiating, and motivational skills
- Unquestionable integrity
- Excellent communication, presentation & writing skills (French & English)
- Strong organizational skills including attention to details & multi-tasting skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills – able to build constructive relations across the Group.
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or accounting
