The Position

This is a specialist position in the Finance & Operations department. You will provide accounting support and administrative agenda for approximately 100 employees in the Czech branch. You will report directly to the F&O Director and collaborates with the accounting team within the branch and centre of excellence and has supervision over the office coordinator/receptionist. We are looking for a candidate with an interest in accounting issues, who enjoys developing and, in the future, will gradually profile himself in a professional accounting role.

Your main responsibilities will be:

-Process and coordinate accounting documentation between local departments with the support of mainly two contact centres, namely: the Centre of Excellence for Accounting and the Global Shared Service Centre.
-Recording of logbooks, meal tickets, company cars, documentation for payroll documents, Concur travel reports, etc.
-Documenting invoices and accounting documents.
 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

-Graduate of secondary school/university, ideally in economics or accounting.
-Basic knowledge of accounting processes; ideally min 1-2 years of work experience
-Very good English (verbal and written) + fluent Czech language.
-Very good organizational skills, communication skills, active approach to work, ability to work in a team, helpfulness, creativity, and diligence.
-Willingness and interest in learning new things and working on personal development.
-Positive thinking (finding solutions to problems).
-Ability to work with data (analytical thinking).
-Very good computer skills (MS Office – excel).
-Previous experience with assistance work in the field of accounting is an advantage, but not a condition.
-Knowledge of SAP is an advantage. Excellent analytical skills, quality, process, and results driven, with high level accounting expertise.
