Are you ready to lead with purpose and drive impactful change? Novo Nordisk is looking for a dynamic Finance and Operations Director to join our Belgian Affiliate Leadership Team.
This is more than a role; it’s an opportunity to shape a healthier Belux while advancing your career in a company committed to transforming lives. We see however opportunity with the Catalent take-over, to increase our footprint in Belgium hopefully leading to increased and better relationship with government.
The Position
In this role you will lead and execute our strategic financial and operational initiatives to support our strategy. This pivotal role involves managing financial planning supporting business operations, this position will report to the General Manager, Belgium and will have 1 direct report.
Additionally, you will:
-Foster a culture of innovation and drive initiatives that keep Novo Nordisk at the forefront of the pharmaceutical industry.
-Manage and streamline financial planning and reporting processes, ensuring we stay at the cutting edge of financial excellence.
-Oversee our supply chain, ensuring efficiency and continuous improvement that set industry standards.
-Collaborate with international teams and leverage our global network to bring the best solutions to Belgium.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we imagine that you have:
-Master’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
-Minimum of 5 years in a relevant financial leadership role, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
-Extensive experience in Finance like FP&A, accounting, compliance, and sourcing.
-Proven track record in people management and cross-functional leadership. Someone who can represent Novo Nordisk externally and is able to build strong networks.
-Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical market and commercial operations.
