In this role, you will have a great opportunity to business partner with LEGO Retail and demonstrate your technical skillset within accounting.We do not offer relocation for this position.Core ResponsibilitiesPlay a pivotal role in supporting the stores finance team to:Key business partner to real estate and store expansion teamsTrack and control store projects cost (OPEX & CAPEX)Partner on Store Fit Out cost developmentBudget governance and reporting covering store maintenance, T&E, etc.Assist in delivery of financial estimatesPartner with teams on assessing & delivering productivity initiativesHelp business & finance team navigate accounting, systems & purchase orders complexitiesPlay your part in our team succeedingLEGO Retail Finance consists of ~20 colleagues based across Europe, the US and Asia. You will report into the Senior Finance Business Partner for Retail Stores (who reports to the Stores Finance Director).Do you have what it takes?The ideal candidate has experience working within the finance and accounting area in a global & matrix organization. You are an individual with the ability to demonstrate financial competence / management accounting proficiency and comfortable challenging and influencing key partners. In addition, we hope that you bring:Strong communication and collaboration skillsOrganised and structured way of workingAnalytical approach, enjoying getting to the route of issues and making improvements.Proficient in Excel, SAP, COUPA (or similar purchase order system).Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
