• Job Purpose

Executes the factory controlling operations for the Cekan Plant as a solid member of the Plant Management Team. The Plant Controller acts consistent with schedules and requirements established by the company, the accounting profession and external regulatory agencies, including generally accepted accounting principles.He/She leads by example and establishes a Lean philosophy that can be implemented to ensure longevity of the business.The success of the job is founded by correct and timely reporting in order to achieve the operational productivity targets2. • Manufacturing Variances

The plant controller acts as the guardian for achieving the targets for Manufacturing Variances. He/She will pro-actively set up controls to stick to target and implement and execute countermeasures in case of falling short to targetExamples: Cost controls, stock counts, absorption settlement and follow up.

• Correct & Timely Reporting

The plant controller is responsible for all operations-oriented reporting both at month end towards corporate, as well as daily/weekly reporting that support the local business leaders.Examples: Annual accounts, monthly forecast cycle, inventory reporting, ad hoc requests, SDP.

• Day to day financial operations

The plant controller is responsible for all financial operations such as, monthly salary, cash forecasting, controlling of financial bookings, approvals and compliance with Belden financial policies.

• Business Partner for Plant Manager

The plant controller will act as the “go-to” person for financial topics for the Plant Manager at Cekan. He/She will have a dotted line to the relevant Smart Buildings Finance reference and will support where needed on financial topics.

Examples: member of Cekan Plant MT, participate in reviews such as SDP

• Standard Cost price process

Full responsibility for the cost prices within SAP, excel. This means collecting relevant material and setting the cost prices for the Cekan plant, in collaboration with the Plant Manager.

• AFE Process

Driving the investment budget and controlling the actual spend of the investments for the Cekan Plant

• Improvement projects

The Plant Controller will be a key member in the various improvement projects to ensure the yearly productivity targets are being met.4. Knowledge & Skills Required.Proven numerical skillsDegree in Business Administration or equivalentDemonstrate relevant experience in controlling by degree or by relevant working experienceAttention to detail essential and strong analytical skillsI.T. literate – experience of SAP, Hyperion and Excel is advantageousProven experience from a production using Standard cost pricesThe right mindsetAffinity with a high tech production environmentDemonstrate a pro-active, flexible and pragmatic approach.Ability to operate successfully in a fast moving environment essentialDemonstrate the Belden valuesWilling to take responsibility which entails the positionGood communication skillsBusiness level English essential (both verbal and written)Ability to communicate and work with both factory floor as well as (senior) managementExperience of working within an international organization advantageousLet’s Write the Next 100 Years Together.
