Job Scope:

The HR Controller ensures accurate, consistent, and insightful labor cost and headcount reporting across EMEA. They act as a bridge between HR and Finance, providing transparency, harmonization, and strategic insight into workforce costs, planning, efficiency projects, and organizational changes.

Responsibilities:

1. Labor Cost & Headcount Actuals

  • Consolidate labor cost and HC for all EMEA entities (actuals and reclasses).
  • Analyse deviations vs previous year, budget, and forecast.
  • Validate data received from local HR controllers.
  • Partner with Corporate HR / Compensation & Benefits for accuracy.

2. Budget & Forecast

  • Build and consolidate HC & labor cost plans across clusters and functions.
  • Drive inflation and workforce planning assumptions.

3. HC Approval Process (APN)

  • First reviewer of HC requests shared by local HR controllers and ensure consistency between budget and APN requests.
  • Align with regional HR and corporate on priorities and approvals.
  • Track open positions, savings, and impacts on forecast / budget.

4. Standardization & Data Governance

  • Harmonize templates, methodologies, and reporting definitions across EMEA.
  • Lead data cleanup, reconciliation, and alignment between HR & Finance systems.
  • Coordinate cost center creation/updates and ensure cross-cluster consistency.

5. MBO / Incentive Calculation

  • Build and simulate MBO scales.
  • Coordinate with Corporate and Comp & Ben teams for simulations and closure.
  • Ensure bottom‑up accuracy in MBO accruals and achievements.

6. Labor Efficiency & Special Projects

  • Support EMEA transformation initiatives (organisational redesigns, severance, efficiency projects).
  • Validate financial impact (€ & HC) and track actual savings.
  • Partner with Transformation, HR, and Finance teams to quantify and follow-up on projects

Partnering with EMEA Professional Solutions HR and Regional Finance Directors.

Skills & competences:

  • 3 to 5 years experience in financial controlling (P&L, accruals, budgeting, forecasting).
  • Understanding of HR processes (HC planning, payroll structure, SIP/MBO mechanisms).
  • Strong data analytics & modelling (Excel advanced; Power BI is a plus).
  • Solid grasp of cost allocation, cost centers
  • Effective stakeholder management (HR, Finance, Corporate, Cluster leaders).
  • Detail-oriented with high rigor and data accuracy mindset.
  • Proactive “challenger” mentality toward clusters and functions.
  • Ability to work cross‑region with different maturity levels.
  • High sense of confidentiality and discretion.
  • English Fluent, French is not mandatory.
