Job description

• Conduct an audit of current financial processes and implement necessary improvements.
• Prepare the company to secure external funding (e.g., investors, venture capital, banks).
• Create and manage an internal finance and accounting department, including the implementation of accounting tools and systems.
• Develop and execute a long-term financial strategy to support the company’s growth.
• Support the owner in making key strategic decisions regarding the future development of the business.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, analyze financial results, and report key financial metrics to the board.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legal and tax regulations.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CFO or in a similar role, preferably in a start-up or fast-growing company.
• Experience working with entrepreneurs.
• Experience in developing business models and preparing a company for fundraising – a must-have.
• Knowledge of financial audit, controlling, and fundraising processes.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions and support the owner in development planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with owners, investors, and teams.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
