In this role you will function as liaison between technical and business user groups. Reporting to the Business Lead, the Finance Business Analyst will be responsible for working on multiple process improvements or risk reduction projects. You will interpret what the users need and translate those requirements into detailed specifications; take part in solution design, development, testing and production deployment. As well as act as the subject matter expert for assigned business This position has exposure to various key stakeholders within Alternatives Team located in Krakow, Luxembourg and Boston as well as across firm included but not limited to Systems Team, Product Team, Business Transformation Team. You will be part of a highly focused team who solve business problems using different technologies.Some of your key responsibilities include:Develop and maintain familiarity as a Subject Matter Expertise with available applications especially eFront, Unity, Smart Data Capture, AlteryxUnderstanding technical concepts and how they impact the business processesWork with business teams to identify productivity improvements in workflows and proceduresLearn and apply existing and emerging technology solutions to provide simplification, standardization and automation aiming scalability and or risk reductionExecute optimization including automation projects with collaboration from Business Teams and Systems/Business Transformation TeamContribute ideas and solutions to the Business Lead for applications enhancements’Support preparation of Business Requirements Documents for application enhancementsInvolve in design and development process – ensuring requirements are properly understood and addressed by technical teamProvide support to technical teams by clarifying business requirements and analyzing issues to determine their root causeParticipate in system and user acceptance testingProvide application training to end usersCreate and maintain application documentation and best practice guidelinesCollaborate and show a cross-functional approach. Keep close alignment between Business stakeholders, Systems and Product TeamsBuild confidence and trust within the Alternative Department through proactive engagement. Be a trusted advisor and “”go-to” person for your own Team and supported Business Teams
