Achieve your ambitions – join us at JLL!What this job involvesAs part of a EMEA Finance team 100% allocated under an EMEA key account, the role will support the EMEA Finance lead Manager with all areas of the client finance function, including month-end reporting, budgeting and forecasting, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting for the Client, Design and Construction (D&C) in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and to the European Corporate Finance Teams.Responsibilities:

  • Monitor project budgets and financials. Propose corrective measures when needed and chase until completion.
  • Ensuring that all accruals are recorded accurately to timetable on a monthly basis.
  • Manage our internal finance databases;
  • Responsible of the development and maintenance of internal automated process.
  • Working with the Corporate finance team to develop a framework to:
  • Support monthly reporting process by ensuring that the monthly result is reported accurately and to timetable.
  • Supporting Capital Planning exercises
  • Coordinate with D&C team to Setting up: vendors into Customer Systems / Customer Chart of Accounts/ Purchase Requisitions & Orders/ Invoices
  • Support the completion of individual development plans. If any assigned
  • Provide feedback on their role and suggestions for future training and strengths. If any assigned
  • Support D&C team members on boarding / regular trainings on Processes / Procedures / Tools
  • Ensure and support delivery of all Client and JLL financials.
  • Develop and implement Client reporting tools.
  • Client liaison; build strong collaborative partnership with client project managers.
  • Supporting the client-side finance teams with any queries/information requests.
  • Identify and initiate necessary change control processes.

  • Minimum 2/3 years previous working experience in a similar position
  • Bachelor’s degree required, in a finance, data science, business administration, economics or equivalent.
  • Experience of finance in a construction / project management context is a distinct advantage

Skills

  • Mandatory Advanced Microsoft Office Skills including Excel Pivot Tables. Automation experience with VBA is required.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain issues and present complex information clearly, concisely and consistently.
  • Ability to manage multiple work assignments simultaneously, manage multiple or conflicting priorities, and handle a high-pressure working environment
  • Experience with data visualization and Business Intelligence tools will be considered (Database Mgt./PowerBi)
  • Able to work with a team and independently, have experience in working with remote teams and stakeholders.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Candidate must demonstrate personal commitment with high velocity and speed of response and a proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Positive, solution-oriented communications and a willingness to take responsibility.
  • Strong written and verbal English language skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly, and desire to develop.
  • Having a desire to pursue an accounting qualification to progress their career.
