We are looking for an Industrial Automation Apprentice to join our Customer Services division in Genoa (Italy) within the Digital Industries area, who will be trained as a Field Service Specialist over a period of 2 years.

Your Challenge

During the apprenticeship you will receive a comprehensive and state-of-the- art training to develop your personal and professional skills and you will have the support of a mentor to achieve your career steps.

As a Field Service Specialist Apprentice your activities will be to:

• Support the installation and setup of industrial automation systems such as PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
• Assist in performing routine maintenance on automation equipment to ensure accurate functionality.
• Help diagnose and fix basic technical issues with automation systems, both remotely and onsite.
• Assist in inspecting customer equipment and systems to ensure they meet required standards.
• Help organize and prioritize tasks based on their importance.
• Contribute to the improvement of internal tools, equipment, and processes.
• Ensure all activities align with relevant safety and regulatory standards.
• Assist in coordinating with sub-contractors and monitoring their work.
• Participate in the development of new service solutions.

Required entry qualifications:

• You are under 30 years of age, in accordance with the Italian apprenticeship contract.
• You are a recent ITS graduate, or you have a diploma or degree in electrical/automation/electronic.
• Proficiency in English and Italian.
• A passion for continuous growth.
• Respect and appreciation for each person’s uniqueness, with a willingness to co-create and share knowledge.
• Eligibility to work in Italy.
