We are looking for a Field Service Engineer, interested in the Measurement Intelligence industry for Gas Analysis Solutions, to be hired with a permanent contract within the Process Automation area.

Your Challenge
Within the Digital Industry Organization, the Field Service Engineer will be responsible for driving Customer satisfaction through excellent delivery of installation, configuration and repair on site assigned tasks on our Analyser Systems and Gas Chromatograph systems. In particular, he will manage customer plants covered by maintenance contracts ensuring the best installed gas analysis systems performances and reliability.
The engineer who takes this position will travel to a customer’s site and troubleshoot, test, maintain, and/or commission solutions using Siemens CGA products and industry technology portfolio to satisfy industrial customer requirements and solve problems.
The main activities will be to:

Perform installation, configuration, repairs and training on assigned Analytical and Gas Chromatograph systems

Ensure complete execution of all preventive maintenance on the assigned assets

Work constantly with local Customer Service team

Report all activities in order to satisfy Complaint Handling processes

Interact with Regional Support Center to ensure proper resolution of the issues

Comply with Health and safety, Environment and HR regulations
To be a perfect fit for this role, you have:

Proven experience in a similar role
-
Education Required Level: Bachelor degree in an engineering field or Technical Diploma

Willingness to travel (80%) in Italy and sometimes abroad

Previous experience in Customer facing roles

Team working attitude, proactive and able to take self-initiatives
-
Car License
-
Passion to never-stop growing
-
Respect and appreciation of each person’s uniqueness, willingness to co create and share knowledge

Proficiency in English and Italian, both writing and speaking
