FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER – BENELUX

Natus Medical Incorporated, leading provider of healthcare products used for the screening, detection, treatment, monitoring and tracking of common medical ailments in newborn care, hearing disorders, neurological dysfunction, epilepsy, sleep disorders, and balance and mobility disorders, is looking for a Field Service Engineer (m/f) for his Dutch entity.

This offer is for a permanent position at full time (40h per week from Monday to Friday), and has to be filled as soon as possible. This position will be attached to our head office in Ede and will be focused on the south of Netherlands and Belgium (Eindhoven, Tilburg, …).

Job overview:

With the Service team and alongside the sale team, for our public customers (hospital) or private customers (retail hearing shops), and for our Hearing and Balance devices:

  • The installation, configuration and calibration of the medical devices (installation of the equipments and softwares)
  • The yearly calibrations on site at customer location
  • The hot-line for our customers (technical service) at home or at the office
  • The recording / reporting of all the service activities in our CRM (Salesforces) and the feedback to the sales team and the marketing/QA-RA department
  • The management of your metrology and calibration tools

Travel required: extensive, Benelux area (Netherlands and Belgium).

Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

  • 5 years of similar experience on field service activities in the medical device industry
  • Bachelor degree + 3 yours of College /University with electronic or IT knowledge
  • Good knowledge on IT topics (Microsoft Windows 7, 10 OS, and network topics): you like to learn and improve your knowledge on these topics, in order to help the customers with the IT issues as all our products are IT based.
  • Service-minded, strong motivation, very good communication with customers and other members of the team.
  • Highly organized : autonomous and self-driven, proactive and in control of administrative work, including service reports and customer queries.
  • Ability to travel in Holland and Belgium: valid driver licence.
  • Knowledge in Audiology / hearing and Balance would be highly appreciated.

Language abilities: Fluent Dutch and Professional level English speaker. A good knowledge of German or French languages will be a plus
