The role:

You will support customers across Belgium with occasional travel to the Netherlands. You’ll have an opportunity to develop your professional career in a highly professional environment with innovative equipment and solutions for industrial companies. In this role you’ll be a part of our technical service team in Benelux, providing technical support to our local customers.

What you’ll do:

-Perform corrective and curative interventions to ensure the fastest response time and “fix first time” behavior.
-Once trained, perform pre-installations, installations and maintenance activity.
-Perform training, both internally and externally where needed.
-Complete service reports accurately, noting time confirmation, spare part usage, tasks performed, service product, fault/solution codes, installed base data maintenance (serial number, ink, counter value, functional location).
-Actively promote and sell M-I service products to our customers, improving the up-time of the application and maximizing M-I sales results in addition to ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
-Work in partnership with the sales teams to assist with sales revenue targets and revenue growth.
-Travel around the assigned area with overnight night stays (1 -2 nights per month occasionally). Occasional requirement to travel globally to attend training and meetings.
 

Full training is provided. 

What you need to have:

-Experience as a Field Service Engineer or Technical Service Engineer in the industrial or manufacturing sectors 
OR

style=”list-style-type:disc”-
-Experience in a similar role with a strong focus on Electrical/Mechanical technical troubleshooting
-Fluent in Dutch and English required.
-Understanding of French would be beneficial but is not mandatory 
-Knowledge of technical products, similar to MI’s product range would be beneficial but not mandatory.
-Excellent communication skills, customer facing.
-Ability to technically assess situations and issues, and proactively advise on solutions.
-Ability to follow procedures and plan time effectively.
-Ability to manage multiple tasks.
