The Position
As a Field Sales Manager for Primary Care & Speciality Care, your responsibility will be to build district sales capability and manage a sales team to reach and exceed sales targets in a defined geographical district. In addition, your responsibility will be to ensure district sales performance and execute sales plans, targets, and budgets within the national sales strategy.
Your main accountabilities will be:
-Initiating and preparing the sales plan and cooperating in the preparation of the marketing plans
-Driving, developing, and motivating team members, utilizing the Novo Nordisk Way of Coaching
-Ensure cross-functional collaboration with marketing, medical, market access, to maximise the sales of Novo Nordisk portfolio
-Participating and contributing effectively to accompanied working, regional meetings, national conferences, and other Novo Nordisk meetings
-Responsible for alignment of sales activities and coverage of target customer groups with clear strategy and plans
-Working according to Business Ethics procedures and local law, as well as Novo Nordisk policies and guidelines
Qualifications
As a Field Sales Manager, you need to demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of sales representative experience in the pharmaceutical industry with an excellent track record of sales results. Moreover, you have proven stakeholder management experience with customers and prescribers in primary care & speciality care therapy.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
-Minimum 3 years of higher education (e.g. bachelor’s degree in nursing)
-LMI certification and preferably people management skills
-Knowledge of the primary care & speciality care market and the ability to map relevant stakeholders
-Growth Mindset and a can-do approach
-Ability to drive marketing and multi-channel engagement, as well as cross-functional work
-Ability to handle difficult conversations, develop people, and have a futuristic approach
-Data-driven mindset, analytical skills, and able to succeed through others
-Learning capacity to acquire and develop new skills
-Experience working from Marketing or other commercial roles within pharma, or in Health care organisation.
