Lead the national sales strategy and accelerate market growth for cardiometabolic care in Croatia!

Your new role

As National Sales Manager for Croatia, you will play a critical role in driving Novo Nordisk’s cardiometabolic portfolio to new heights. This position combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, ensuring sustainable market growth through effective sales and marketing plans. You will lead and develop a high-performing sales team, foster strong cross-functional collaboration, and represent Novo Nordisk’s values and vision in every interaction with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

-Execute national sales strategy aligned with the cardiometabolic business objectives to achieve revenue and market share targets.
-Lead, coach, and develop the sales team, ensuring high performance and continuous competency growth.
-Design and implement territory business plans to optimize sales opportunities and improve customer outcomes.
-Allocate resources and manage promotional budgets effectively to maximize impact and ROI.
-Monitor and analyse sales performance indicators, taking proactive actions to address gaps and seize opportunities.
-Drive cross-functional collaboration with marketing, medical, and other business units to ensure seamless execution of brand plans and campaigns.
-Act as an ambassador for Novo Nordisk, upholding ethical standards and company values in all stakeholder interactions.
 

Your new department

You will lead a newly established Cardiometabolic Sales team with 10 strong sales individuals covering the whole of Croatia, focused on improving the lives of people with serious chronic diseases.

Your skills & qualifications

-University degree, preferably in natural sciences or healthcare.
-Solid understanding of the local pharmaceutical market and industry dynamics.
-At least 2 years of experience in the obesity therapeutic area, with strong product and disease knowledge, is preferred but not required.
-Excellent strategic thinking and planning skills, including the ability to develop innovative business solutions.
-Proven sales management potential combined with strong team building and leadership capabilities.
-Exceptional communication, networking, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Croatian. 
-Demonstrated ability to manage projects, adapt to change, and break new market ground with agility.
