You will work technically and professionally to ensure that equipment is installed, maintained and started properly. By making innovative contributions to our future, you’ll help create reliable, high-quality support for our customers.As a Project Field Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Installing and commissioning of turbomachinery equipment: gas turbine, compressors, steam turbines, and associated auxiliaries.
- Interfacing between the site, Baker Hughes design team, and the sub-suppliers’ engineers involved in all technical discussion relevant to design issues.
- Managing and resolve Non-conformances through the Service Now based process.
- Delivering as installed documentation.
- Supporting regional installed base with issue resolution and drive lessons learned across the fleet.
- Presenting projects plans, technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior business leaders
- Communicating solutions across the own function and with cross-functional partner organizations.
Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor degree on Engineering, Mechanical, Aeronautical.
- Have technical experience with Gas turbines, Engines Experience, operations, maintenance, and repair, particularly investigation of field problems (5 – 7 years). Turbomachinery competencies including knowledge of gas turbines, steam turbines, or compressors.
- Be a Self-starter with technical and analytical skills
- Demonstrate a process mindset with ability to see how to execute a strategy across various departments in business.
- Be able to work in a team environment with strong project management skills.
- Have excellent English communication skills with both external and internal customers.
- Be able to communicate effectively both to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Have experience interacting across multifunctional teams.
- Have the knowledge of combined cycle power plant design with a specific focus on electrical components: Electrical Management System, E-Houses and electrical systems.
- Be able to occasionally travel to site. (10% of the time)
- Document, plan, market, and execute programs.
