A Day in the Life

Join our Neuromodulation Italy team as a Market Developer in the Interventional Spine Business and help transform patient care through innovative, minimally invasive spinal therapies. In this strategic role, you’ll work at the forefront of medical innovation, contributing to better patient outcomes by promoting advanced treatments like radiofrequency ablation and vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty. By focusing on cutting-edge solutions, you’ll play a key part in improving the quality of life for patients with spinal disorders without the need for traditional surgery.

Reporting directly to the Country Leader, you’ll be responsible for expanding Medtronic’s presence in the interventional spine market across Italy. Your role involves identifying growth opportunities, supporting sales efforts, and building strong relationships with specialists such as interventional radiologists, pain management doctors, and spine surgeons. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Develops and maintains robust relationships with clinical, key opinion leaders and economical stakeholders to drive awareness and adoption of targeted products and therapies.
  • Partner with sales teams (agencies) to provide market insights, training, and tools to enhance their effectiveness in the field.
  • Support sales initiatives by engaging directly with healthcare professionals and decision-makers to promote Medtronic’s interventional product portfolio.
  • Coordinates with customer and MDT stakeholders to identify account needs and opportunities for implementing market development projects.
  • Act as a Medtronic ambassador to communicate product value propositions and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Ensures clear understanding / documentation of clinical and economic benefits of increased therapy adoption.
  • Supporting tender procurement process by managing bids, proposal and technical documentation.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in market development, sales, or a related field within the interventional or medical device industry.
  • Strong understanding of Interventional procedures and technologies is a plus (vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty and RF ablation).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed (25%-50%)
  • Advanced degree is preferred
