Position Summary

Job Title: FECC R&D Engineer Junior/Test Assistant

Fives Combustion BU is actively seeking an R&D Engineer Junior/Test Assistant to join its team at the FivesEuropean Combustion Research Center in Piacenza (PC), Italy.

We are currently looking for an R&D Engineer Junior/Test Assistant in our European Research Centre who will be responsible for:

• Organize and plan the short-term combustion tests in line with the FECC manager;
• Manage the supply chain related to the tests;
• Participate in the tests (Data collection implementation, record, analysis) ;
• Manage the IT of the data collection system and test rig automation;
• Participate in maintenance program (planification, supply chain management);
• Ensure safety during combustion test performance;

You are the ideal candidate/s if you meet the following requirements:

• Junior engineer or Experimented technician with background in thermal/mechanical/Instrumentation and control / electrical field;
• Basic Knowledge in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics
• Software: Pack office,
• Languages
• Italian: fluent speaking, reading, writing
• English: speaking, reading, writing
• Technical curiosity and initiative sense;
• Ability to analyze, to summarize;
• Oral proficiency and communication clarity.
• Additional welcome skills
• PLC/HMI environnement (Siemens, Schneider…), supervision environnement
• CAD design software
• IT data management
• French: speaking, reading, writing
