Job Title: F&B managerLocation: BrusselsStart: ASAPSalary: €5000 + bonusMy client is looking for a Food and Beverage Manager to look after multiple departments excluding the restaurants.We are looking for a candidate who has experience in a 5* Luxury Hotel setting, not only will you need to provide excellent customer service but also you will need to be able to address your guests in French, English and Dutch ( this is a non negotiable).Your Key Responsibilities will be:Operations Management
- Oversee the daily operations of the F&B department.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all F&B areas.
- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures.
Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise F&B staff, including servers, bartenders, and support staff.
- Schedule staff shifts and manage payroll.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development.
Customer Service
- Ensure high-quality customer service and satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints and feedback.
- Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures.
Financial Management
- Prepare and manage the F&B budget.
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue, costs, and profitability.
- Implement cost-control measures and strategies to increase profitability.
Inventory Management
- Oversee inventory levels and ensure adequate supply of food and beverages.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and manage stock rotation.
Menu Development
- Collaborate with chefs to develop and update menus.
- Ensure menus are in line with current trends and customer preferences.
- Monitor food quality and presentation.
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Implement and monitor food safety and hygiene standards.
- Conduct regular training on health and safety protocols.
Marketing and Promotions
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract customers.
- Plan and oversee special events and promotions.
- Manage social media and other promotional activities.
Qualifications
- Education: A degree in hospitality management, business administration, culinary arts, or a related field is often preferred.
- Experience: Several years of experience in F&B management or a supervisory role within the 5* Luxury Hospitality Industry is regarded very favorable.
