In line with the Franklin Templeton Code of Conduct, ensuring the highest standards of honest conduct and business ethics in all aspects of business activities, the team support the organisation by performing oversight assurance of outsourced service providers, Stakeholder support, and Product/Change Management.Franklin Templeton participates in the Automated Exchange of Information (AEoI) following the implementation of FATCA (US) and CRS (Rest of World) reporting required to assist the ability to combat tax evasion and money laundering.The FCO team focus on the implementation of Franklin Templeton FATCA & CRS policy both by the organisation, outsourced Transfer Agents (TA) and additional third parties.What will this role entail?You will be responsible for owning the oversight and monitoring of vendors, ensuring controls, policies, & procedures are well document, lead partner assessments, maintaining databases of reporting entities, prepare and review communications to various boards, and implement rule changes with multiple partners. Managers ensure a diligent execution of data preparation for annual submissions and provide subject matter expertise to the business to assist with responses to various local Tax Authorities and assisting with any major escalations relating to AEoI tasks.What are the ongoing responsibilities of FATCA & CRS Oversight Manager?Lead the team in ensuring appropriate FATCA & CRS governance is in placeReview vendor processes to identify gaps and deficiencies in FT policy complianceSign off on GSS FATCA & CRS policies and proceduresOwn reporting of data to various internal stakeholdersImplement rule changes with third partiesManages through subordinate leaders and/or professionals to manage workgroup or department within GSS.Engages team, develops direct reports, influences downstream developmental efforts, and guides subordinate leaders in managing pay for performance philosophy.Collaborates locally and across regions with cross-functional leaders to plan for and manage short to mid-term objectives and builds relationships with business partners and/or industry contacts to drive the business.What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?
Has experience working with external vendors, preferably Transfer Agents or Tax AdvisersHas working knowledge of AEoI reporting, including FATCA & CRS regulationHas experience working with multiple jurisdictions, preferably across APAC, EMEA & AmericasHas experience in leading a teamHas strong analytical, organizational, and time management skillsExcellent command of spoken and written EnglishProficient in MS OfficeAutomation tools such as VBA Macros or Power Automate will be a plusExperience our welcoming culture and reach your professional and personal potential!Building teams with diverse skills, backgrounds, and experiences has always been important to us.
