Roles & Objectives

The candidate will join the Brand Engagement Department at Philip Morris Italia, reporting to the Seasonal Brand Retail Supervisor and based in Rome. The role will provide support to the Fairs & Events and Seasonal Brand Retail teams in planning and activating temporary lounges in iconic, high-footfall locations across the country to reach, engage and retain consumers. The intern will assist in the execution of brand engagement and commercial activities within these lounges, identifying the most effective ways to engage consumers through a multi-category approach. Additionally, the role includes contributing to the planning and implementation of communication plans aimed at amplifying consumer engagement and increasing lounge traffic.

Specific Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing internal presentations and reports.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (brand & content, social media, loyalty, trade, etc.) to support the execution of activation plans.
• Help with preparatory activities for lounge openings, including utility activation, shipments, visual merchandising and equipment orders.
• Support the setup and dismantling phases of new lounges.
• Contribute to the development of activities aimed at increasing consumer engagement within lounges.
• Assist in managing the hospitality platform, coordinating with internal teams and external agencies.
• Provide support in event planning and execution, including hospitality initiatives and negotiations.
• Help ensure alignment among stakeholders for timely and effective delivery of activation initiatives.

Who we’re looking for

• University degree.
• Literacy in Office Suite.
• Fluent in English and in Italian.
• Ability to work alone, in team and to engage with multi-functional stakeholders.
• Good communication skills.
• Customer and problem-solving orientation.
• Quick learning capabilities, entrepreneurship and attention to details.
• Any previous involvement in event organization and/or commercial environment or similar activities will be considered a plus.
