Role: FAE Manager

A leading European innovator in radiation-tolerant SoC FPGA technology is expanding its customer-facing technical organisation, and we are seeking an experienced FAE Manager to help drive the success of next-generation aerospace and defence platforms.
If you enjoy solving complex engineering challenges, guiding technical teams, and working with cutting-edge FPGA architectures, this role puts you right at the heart of it. You will connect customers, R&D, and commercial teams to ensure seamless deployment of advanced programmable logic solutions across space, defence, avionics, and other high-reliability markets.
What you will be doing
• Lead and develop a team of Field Application Engineers supporting customers across France
• Ensure high-quality technical support for FPGA and SoC FPGA integration
• Work closely with R&D and Sales to align products with evolving market needs
• Deliver technical training to internal teams and customers
• Capture field insights to influence product evolution and roadmap decisions
• Contribute to the company’s broader technical and commercial strategy
• Collaborate with a senior technical expert and report to the Product Director
What you will bring
• Engineering degree in Electronics or a related discipline
• Strong experience with FPGA-based systems, preferably including SoC FPGA architectures
• Minimum 5 years in technical support or applications engineering, including team leadership
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and customer-facing abilities
• Proactive mindset, strong organisation, and a collaborative approach
• Fluent English, additional languages a bonus
• Experience in the space industry is an advantage
