We have a vast and ever-evolving portfolio of brands primed to play an important part in everything from modernizing infrastructure around the world to enabling the next generation of electric and autonomous vehicles.We are currently looking for a Facility, Site & Safety Specialist to join us at our facility in Tiel, Netherlands.The Facility department provides a pleasant and safe working environment for colleagues & visitors and supports the organization in all facility & EHS related matters.Key responsibilities EHS

• Lead the EHS activities for the Tiel site (Office, Distribution center, Mixing & Training center) and report to Operations Manager and local MT.
• Ensure that both employees and the site comply with all legal requirements and standards in the areas of environment, health, safety and security.
• Compliance with house rules and safety regulations
• Responsible that legal EHS requirements are met and coordinated with the local Management Team.
• Implements and execute EHS tasks in line with environmental permit & Axalta guidelines
• Participates in local decision-making and supports EHS needs in consultation with the site manager and Axalta EHS Team.
• Determines EHS needs and initiate investment proposals to the Operations Manager
• Works with Operational Team Leads to meet requirements and organize (awareness) trainings.
• Communicates timely about EHS topics internally and externally (e.g. local authorities)
• Work independently and perform timely execution of activities to meet EHS standards
• Perform monthly on-site Safety Walks
• Analyses problems and implements improvements.
• Make proposals for EHS CAPEX investments and keep track of budget.

KEY Responsibilities Facility

• Site management
• Fleet management
• Asset management
• Multi Year Maintenance planning of (building) equipment and other assets
• Checking and maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the premises and supervising
• Responsible for facility requests and contact with suppliers
• Acting as the first point of contact for suppliers of facility services and products
• Supervising the correct execution of facility contracts and testing performance on quality and supply agreements (SLA)
• Maintaining contact with users, aimed at accessibility and customer-oriented handling of questions and complaints
• Facilitating events and meetings
• Participation in ad-hoc projects
• Being focused on improving structures related to manual and technical processes that take place in daily operations, resulting in the creation of a productive and innovative environment
• Defines and develops projects according to the needs of the (internal) customer, in accordance with agreed internal procedures
• Monitors and reports project progress
• Guiding implementation of new processes

Key requirements

• PGS15 – Dangerous goods storage
• ADR
• Emergency Response (Officer)
• Fire safety regulations

• Professional Education (HBO) in Facility and/or EHS
• Driving license B
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience
• Independent with a pro-active attitude and flexible hands-on mentality, willingness to follow courses and training
• Good knowledge of Microsoft office
• Motivated self-starter
• Customer-oriented
• High sense of responsibility
• Accurate and exceptional attention to detail
• Confident in dealing with people
• Good knowledge of the Dutch and English language written and spoken
• Health and safety specialist is an advantage
• Strong personality with a hands-on mentality, decisiveness, persuasiveness
• Good ability to plan and organise with helicopter view
• Stress resistant
• Available full time (40 hours) and flexible
