Your new role
As our temporary Facility Operations Professional within Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) Business Support, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and continuous development of buildings, facilities, and installations under the API Business Support administration.
This is a unique opportunity to step into a newly established role with responsibility for two new buildings, while supporting a large and complex site with more than 5000 people.
The main job tasks include:
-Driving, maintaining, and developing the facility management portfolio, ensuring continuous improvement and supporting future consolidation
-Taking responsibility for bringing a 12.000 m2 administrative building and 38.000 m2 parking facility into operation
-Leading the implementation of “state of the art” Facility Management procedures, systems, and technologies including service level agreements, contracts, budgets, and the management of external craftsmen and vendors
-Ensuring full compliance with Novo Nordisk standards, policies, and legal requirements
The role will be based in Kalundborg, Denmark and will report directly to the Director for API Infrastructure.
Your new department
In CMC & Product Supply, we cover the full value chain from drug and device development to marketed Novo Nordisk products. We are more than 30,000 colleagues across the globe with the shared responsibility of scaling molecules, processes, devices, and products, dedicated to supplying life-saving medicines to the patients who need them most.
The position is placed in Business Support at our API site in Kalundborg. The API Business Support consists of highly qualified employees with a multitude of professional backgrounds, all with the common purpose to support our production and implementation of Novo Nordisk strategies within API. At site Kalundborg, we produce diabetes and obesity products 24/7, which are continuously distributed to patients worldwide.
Your skills and qualifications
We are looking for a person with strong interpersonal skills, who can quickly build relationships and proactively solve challenges. In addition to a strong attention to details and independence, you also bring with you:
-A degree in building construction, facility management, project management, engineering, or a similar field
-+3 years of experience in facility or project management, with a proven track record in project execution and coordination, preferably within a large company
-Experience applying best practices and business insights to improve facility management setup and services
-Proficiency in using DaluxFM
-Experience managing contracts and budgets, with the ability to plan, visualise and prepare tasks within defined scope, cost, risk and time
-Excellent communication skills in English and professional proficiency in Danish
