Join Roche, where every voice matters.The PositionThe FM for Soft Services & Workplace will be responsible for the operational management of all FM soft and Workplace related services, deliveries and processes that support the core business of our Spanish portfolio.The candidate will manage and optimize soft & workplace service contracts, in alignment of the global Roche standards, regulations and targets and drive performance improvement, establish and maintain control procedures and tools to assure efficient space management, event management, strategic operational spend and lean FM operations based on best practice and international standards.The candidate will be responsible for the optimization and management of spaces based on the Roche Workplace Strategy, where the user is at the center, focusing on what they need and what they want, looking for the right balance to improve business performance.She/he will assist in developing, sourcing, packaging and maintaining a range of compelling, efficient, compliant, and sustainable and customer centric workplace technology products for internal targets.She/he will develop detailed plans, with staff members who support large business unit, which link business needs and forecast supply and demand for spaceShe/he will be responsible for maintain, revision and quality control on programs, tool sheets, and all site draw setup documentation.She/he will ensure lean, transparent and compliant space delivery in alignment of the global Roche standards, regulations and targets and drive performance improvement, to create optimal working environments for our employees and activities.Duties will focus on adopting and applying industry best practice and international standards to improve space efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability.Will act as a project manager for the local & global projects to improve the Sant Cugat Campus, simplify & standardizes workplace strategies as well as change management initiativesThe candidate the candidate will be responsible for the implementation of observation studies on a regular basis, and for their subsequent analysis, conclusions and proposals for actions to be takenMain tasks & Responsibilities∙ Directing, coordinating and planning soft central services∙ Preparing service delivery tender documents, service specifications and supporting procurement activities.∙ Identifying and executing space planning projects to improve productivity and collaboration based on Workplace strategy∙ Coordinating IT projects ranging from conference room modification to new space construction ∙ Lead and participate in gathering, analysis and dissemination of business requirements and forecasts for the development of strategic portfolio plans∙ Promoting workplace safety, environmental practices, waste reduction opportunities, sustainability, and energy conservation initiatives∙ Managing employee programs including food and transportation∙ Provide analysis support as needed∙ Provide information to stakeholders to assist in the development of business cases for new workplace solutions, which includes presenting technical information such that non-technical people can understand it.∙ Collaborate with the SM & FM on opportunities to define vendor scope and manage supplier performance∙ Successful track record of delivering design projects in a complex, customer-facing organization using recognized frameworks∙ Proactively monitor workplace technology sourcing∙ Calculating, controlling and comparing costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money.∙ Planning and implementing future spaces development in line with strategic business objectives. ∙ Ensuring the building meets health, safety, environmental requirements and that facilities and assets comply with all relevant legislation.∙ Using performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and driving performance improvement.∙ Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and dealing with the consequences.∙ Cooperate with all hierarchical levels, international and interdepartmental contacts ∙ Participate and implement Roche global facility council initiativesQualifications and work experience∙ University Degree within engineering, FM, RE, architectural, industrial engineering or comparable scope∙ Advanced knowledge 6 use of of CAD and Revit, 3D applications and Photoshop with excellent attention to detail∙ Advanced level of English and Spanish∙
