Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Manager – Brabrand and Lyngby to oversee facility service functions for our non-operations sites, including offices, creative laboratories and Pilot Plants. The ideal candidate will ensure these facilities meet safety and security requirements while supporting business objectives. This role involves coordinating the maintenance of physical assets, systems, and services, managing budgets, and maintaining vendor relationships.Key Responsibilities:
- Safety and Security: Ensure a safe and secure environment for all processes and operations.
- Facilities Operations: Maintain and coordinate physical assets and systems to ensure smooth daily operations, including space management. Manage the hard and soft services.
- Service Offerings and Contractor Administration: Manage services and supplier contracts, including cleaning, maintenance, gardening, food services, reception, mobile telephony and more.
- Budget Management: Organize and optimize the facilities budget to meet financial objectives.
- Project Management: Manage facilities projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet scope, quality, cost estimation, and time goals.
- People Management: Lead and develop the facilities team, ensuring high performance and employee engagement.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in facilities management, construction management, architecture, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in the facilities area with management experience
- Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and EcoSys. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of building systems, maintenance operations, safety procedures, project management, budgeting, and sustainability.
- Certifications: Six Sigma Green Belt preferred. Certified Facility Manager (CFM) from IFMA is a plus.
- Language: Fluency in English and Danish is necessary to succeed in this role.
Key Success Measures:
- Zero safety incidents or security events.
- Smooth and efficient daily operations of facilities.
- Proper management of services and contractors.
- Meeting or optimizing the annual budget.
- Successful completion of projects within scope, quality, cost, and time parameters.
- High employee engagement and retention within the facilities team.
