Hours: Part-time, Mon to Thu 10.30 am – 2.15 pm / Fri 11.15 am – 2.15 pm

The Role  

As a Facilities Support Assistant, you will be the welcoming face of ROQ, ensuring efficient goods in services, secure access, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role demands adaptability, excellent communication, and a willingness to work both indoors and outdoors, regardless of the weather. Your professional appearance and courteous approach will make a real difference to how our community interacts with ROQ.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Create positive first impressions through meet-and-greet services to staff, suppliers, contractors, and visitors.

  • Maintain site security by adhering to ID protocols, vetting visitors, and managing access cards.

  • Effectively manage the receipt, documentation, and dispatch of goods, including post.

  • Play a pivotal role in managing vehicular access and ensure safety protocols are upheld.

  • Assist with meeting room setups and event support.

  • Collaborate with the Facilities & Services Manager to ensure a high standard of service.

  • Contribute to site cleanliness and maintenance, including outside areas.

  • Be prepared for flexible work hours and cover shifts as required.

  • Undertake training and execute assigned duties efficiently.

Selection Criteria 

  • Demonstrated professional demeanour and customer service excellence.

  • Familiarity with clerical or administration tasks.

  • Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and email communication.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication.

  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and participate in training.

  • Smart presentation and adherence to uniform standards.

  • Polite and courteous manner, both in writing and speech.

  • A solid understanding of good customer service principles.
