The diversity of our talents is what makes our work environment multicultural, innovative and highly rewarding.About the job:We are looking for a Facilities & Civil Engineering Project Engineer who will be joining the Engineering Department (Italian Office at Ferrero Technical Center in Alba). By covering this role, you will join the Facilities and Civil Engineering Team to manage the investments related to new installation and refurbishment projects in our plants in worldwide.Main Responsibilities:As Facilities & Civil Engineering Project Engineer, you will lead the project design team of specific projects for facilities, civil infrastructures, and industrial buildings, including industrial plants, production facilities, warehouses, roads, parking areas, laboratories, and production offices. You will ensure compliance with applicable laws, Group standards, and policies. You will supervise the release of technical documents for permitting and manage technical discussions with local authorities.Additionally, you will ensure a transparent and fair tender phase, compare and revise supplier offers, and monitor project milestones until completion, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, design requirements, technical standards, and the project budget.

One of your responsibilities will be to coordinate and support other disciplines and trades throughout the project, ensuring proper coordination and resolution of interferences. You will manage the execution of industrial investments, ensuring compliance with health and safety, food safety, hygienic design principles, technical specifications, and Group standards. Your role will include supporting the start-up of new industrial buildings and providing after go-live assistance for building issues when required.You will ensure proper documentation storage and continuous updates of design packages until the delivery of as-builts, using the best design technologies. You will also support the transition of existing technical archives to digital. Lastly, you will guarantee appropriate on-site presence and live support for assigned projects and investments.Who we are looking for:You will bring your master’s degree in building engineering, architecture, structural engineering, or a related field, along with over 8 years of experience in Building & Utilities.
Your technical leadership and project engineering experience in complex industrial buildings and installations will be an asset in this role.
Your ability to work in a team, manage subcontractors, and make independent decisions on construction sites will ensure smooth project execution.You will frequently travel to various Ferrero plants and construction sites, bringing strong reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Your availability for frequent business travel (60% ca.) and future international mobility, will be mandatory.
