As a team with Collaborate every day to Grow in HSE & Quality aspects, take Care of our employee and customer and lead every day the business.Partner with the bestThe candidate will perform welding activities for the fabrication of components of the different types of Baker Hughes products, following the applicable technical specifications, the technical product drawing, and the processing cycle. The activities must be carried out in compliance with the safety and quality standards defined by the company for the areas of competence.As a Fabrication Welder Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Performing daily activities according to Health, Safety Environment & Quality standard.
- Realizing material identification, execution of preliminary check of the state of the details in accordance with the applicable specifications.
- Participating to weekly HSE & Quality communication shared by Ops Leader and Production Supervisor with all the team (safety Talk & quality Talk)
- Suggesting actions to improve the activities carried out by him/ her according to the spirit of the company’s program of continuous improvement
Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:
- Hold a high school diploma (preferably Mechanical Expert)
- Show welding fundamental Knowledge of manual, automatic, semi-automatic process
- Show welding Experience in at least 1 typology of process (manual, automatic, semi-automatic)
- Be available to work on shifts (even on weekends if necessary)
- Be able to read and interpret drawings/technical specifications
- Display referenced experience on welding/machining activities
- Show knowledge of Oil & Gas products
- Show knowledge and expertise to use precision measuring instruments
- Display computer skills (using Excel, Word, e-mail, etc.)
- Show attitude to teamwork
- Hold a EU Work Permit
- Be fluent in Italian
Desired Characteristics
- Availability to make transfers
- Knowledge of the principles of welding for manual, automatic and semi-automatic process
- Preferable to know fundamental of Non Destructive Test performed on welding (LP, FPI etc ..)
- Knowledge base of management/programming of numerical control machines (milling/turning machines)
- Strong attention to details
