Position: Static Fabric Engineer

Are you a skilled Static Fabric Engineer looking for a new challenge? Join our dynamic team in Reading and enjoy a stable, Monday-to-Friday schedule with no on-call duties, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform routine and reactive maintenance on building fabric systems and components.
* Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify and rectify issues efficiently.
* Carry out repairs on structures, doors, windows, ceilings, and other building elements.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
* Collaborate with other engineers and staff to ensure smooth operation of facilities.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Fabric Engineer or in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of building maintenance, repair techniques, and materials.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in building maintenance or related fields are advantageous.
* DBS check required.
