We are currently representing our esteemed client in their search for a dedicated and skilled Fabric Engineer for a static role based in Coventry. This position offers a competitive salary of up to GBP28,500 per annum, along with additional benefits.

Responsibilities:

* Conducting maintenance, repair, and installation tasks related to building fabric, including walls, ceilings, floors, doors, and windows.
* Plumbing tasks
* Assessing and resolving fabric-related issues efficiently to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
* Performing routine inspections to identify any areas requiring attention and taking appropriate corrective measures.
* Coordinating and overseeing contractors and suppliers for fabric-related projects as necessary.
* Conducting general maintenance tasks, such as painting, plastering, and carpentry work.
* Maintaining accurate documentation of work activities, including reports, service records, and equipment logs.
* Collaborating with the Facilities Management team to develop preventive maintenance strategies and improve overall facility condition.
* Adhering to health and safety regulations and best practices at all times.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Fabric Engineer, preferably in a Facilities Management or similar environment.
* Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in building fabric maintenance and repair.
* Proficiency in a variety of fabric-related tasks, such as plastering, painting, carpentry, and general repairs.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and colleagues.
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Relevant qualifications in fabric maintenance or a related field would be advantageous.
