Job Advertisement: Static Fabric Engineer

Location: Reading Centre

Salary: Up to GBP32,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Fabric Engineer looking for a new challenge? Join our dynamic team and enjoy a varied work schedule that includes a mix of core hours and rotating shifts. We offer a competitive salary of up to GBP32,000 per annum, reflecting your expertise and dedication.

Responsibilities:

* Perform maintenance, repair, and installation tasks on building fabric elements.
* Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards of safety and quality.
* Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
* Respond to emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
* Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks and projects.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

Shift Patterns:

Core Hours:

* Week 1: Monday – Friday: 07:00 – 16:00
* Week 2: Monday – Friday: 07:00 – 16:00

Rota:

* Week 3:

* Monday & Tuesday: 07:00 – 16:00
* Wednesday: 07:00 – 11:30 (1/2 day)
* Thursday & Friday: Off

* Week 4:

* Saturday: 07:30 – 19:30
* Sunday: 09:30 – 17:30
* Monday – Friday: 11:30 – 20:30 (On Call week)

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Fabric Engineer or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance techniques.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work the described shift patterns, including weekends and on-call duties.
* Relevant qualifications and certifications in building maintenance or related fields.
